Bonjour / Hi!
My name is Charles-Etienne (Chuck), nice to meet you! I am a creative colorist at Arketype, a post studio based in Montreal, Canada & a travel photographer.
Following my instinct and that of my clients, I craft a unique look that respects the original footage, while taking it to the next level. As a colorist, I believe that my role is to translate feelings into color, whether for a commercial, dance film, or music video.
Images speak to me and tell me where they need to go. I create looks that please the eye and the heart.
When I’m not too busy grading, you can find me on the road on my motorcycle or on four wheels as RoadShutter, documenting my travels through the lens of my good old Canon 5D MK3.
I also run an original print shop that you can you can find on Etsy.
